Candleholder

No particular plan behind this one. I like to burn scented tea lights and I made this holder from various old, broken toy parts that I had in the craft box--covered with plenty of white enamel paint. It works well as the dolls head is a good insulator for the heat from the tea light candle, and the horse base is very stable.

You may be a crafter if....

Amongst the bulk lot of cuticle scissors I got from eBay, there was a bottle opener. I stood for some time thinking of all the things I could make from it: a sculpture, a doll, a letter holder or part of my new cyber-clock project. Then I remembered that the last time I needed to open a bottle of wine I had to chisel it open with a screwdriver and a hammer. And I put it in my cutlery drawer.

Sometimes a bottle opener is just a bottle opener ;)
